Nobody ever told me that I would have to repeatedly come up with with what to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner- every single day. I was also never told how hard it would be to find healthy recipes that fit my macros and that my family would enjoy eating with me. Once these two realizations really hit me as a busy mom, wife, entrepreneur, and someone trying to stay in shape while eating healthy- I knew I couldn't be alone in feeling slightly overwhelmed trying to balance everything!
This lead me to creating this cookbook. After owning and operating a meal prep company that was voted Best of Charleston (South Carolina) for two years in a row, I had mastered the art of cooking healthy, family-friendly meals, that did not take hours to make.
