The Method
Three phases. Prep, Pursue, Persist. No fixed lengths, because your body did not read the twelve week calendar.
The Nourish to Flourish Method is the three phase coaching framework used at Integrity Nutrition Coaching, developed by founder and nutrition coach Cam Brown. The three phases are Prep, Pursue and Persist.
Prep builds the foundation before any fat loss begins, raising food intake toward maintenance and establishing consistent protein, training and recovery. Pursue is the fat loss phase, which runs on more food than a typical deficit because of the work done in Prep. Persist is the exit, transitioning out of fat loss and holding the result with less restriction.
No phase has a fixed length. How long each one runs depends on the individual client's body, dieting history and goal.
They hand you a deficit on day one, run it for twelve weeks, and then the program ends and so does the result.
That works fine on someone who has never dieted. It does not work on the woman who has already spent five years eating less than she needs. She does not have room to cut. She has been cutting the whole time. Ask that body for less food and it will give you less energy, worse sleep, worse training, and the same weight on the scale.
You cannot diet your way out of
a problem dieting created.
Nourish to Flourish exists because the deficit is the easy part. Getting a body ready to respond to one, and keeping the result once the deficit ends, is where the actual coaching happens. Those are Prep and Persist, and almost nobody sells them, because neither one produces a dramatic scale drop in the first month.
Your food comes up, usually toward maintenance and sometimes past where you expect. Protein gets set properly and gets hit consistently. Training gets structured and progressive. Sleep, steps and recovery stop being an afterthought.
A body that has been under fed for years has adapted to being under fed. Energy output drops, training quality drops, recovery drops. Cutting further from there does not produce fat loss, it produces a smaller, more tired version of the same problem. Prep raises the ceiling so there is somewhere to cut from.
More energy. Better sleep. Better sessions in the gym. Clothes fitting differently even when the scale has not moved much. A calmer relationship with food, because for the first time in a while you are not hungry.
We go after the goal properly. Calories come down into a real deficit, macros are set around your training, and the plan gets adjusted on actual data every week rather than on a schedule someone wrote before they met you.
Because Prep moved your maintenance up, the deficit starts from a higher number. That means you are losing fat on more food than most fat loss phases run on, with more energy to train through it. Same deficit, better conditions.
Nothing is fully restricted. No food group gets banned. If it fits the targets and it keeps you consistent, it stays. Restriction is what got most women here in the first place.
You get walked out of the deficit deliberately instead of falling out of it. Food comes back up in a controlled way, maintenance gets re-established at your new body weight, and you practice holding it while you still have a coach watching.
Almost everyone can lose weight for twelve weeks. The reason women end up back where they started is not the diet, it is that nobody ever taught them what to do the day the diet ended. Persist is that day, coached.
You keep the result. You know your own numbers. You can run a deficit or a maintenance phase yourself and know which one you need. The goal is that you eventually do not need me.
The part that makes it personalized
One woman needs six weeks of Prep. Another needs six months, because she has been eating 1,300 calories since her twenties and there is a lot of ground to make back. One woman runs Pursue once. Another runs it, holds at maintenance, and runs it again.
Phase length gets decided by your body, your dieting history and your goal. It gets adjusted on your weekly data, not on a calendar that was printed before you signed up.
A twelve week block that is exactly twelve weeks for every woman who buys it is a product. This is a plan.
In 2026 I ran my own Prep phase in public. No deficit, not one day. Maintenance calories, more than 250 grams of protein, hard training. Then a DEXA scan: down 10.5 pounds of fat, up 1.7 pounds of lean mass, bone density up 2.4 percent.
I was never cutting. I was building the body that could.

Nutrition coaching is education and behavior change support. It is not medical care and does not diagnose or treat any condition. If you have a diagnosed medical condition, work with your physician alongside coaching.
Work With Me
Most women think they need Pursue. Most women need Prep. Book a discovery call and we will go through what you have already tried, which phase you are actually in, and what your plan would look like. If we are a fit, you can start on the call.
The application asks about your goals and your budget. If one-to-one coaching is not the right fit right now, it will point you to The Macros Course, which teaches the same framework without the coach.
